WHMIS 2015/GHS

Course Overview

Workplace Safety and Health regulations require that workers be informed about the hazards of controlled products used within their workplace. On an annual basis, workers must receive the appropriate WHMIS training to enable them to work safely.

THE COURSE COVERS

  • Cautionary Labels and MSDS
  • Exposure to Hazardous Materials
  • Responsibilities of the Employer, the Worker and the Supplier
  • Introduction to the Global Harmonized System

Length: 1.5 Hours

Regular Cost $30.00 per person

Student Cost $20.00 per person

A student is anyone in (or returning to/starting in the fall) High School, College, University, Private Skills Training School, or who is participating in their apprenticeship for their respective trade.

CURRENTLY UNEMPLOYED?
Please contact us, or have your worker contact us, if you are receiving Employment Insurance or other training assistance to gain employment as you may be eligible for a discount on your course.

Day rates are available for companies booking full classes. Additional fees such as travel costs may be on top of the training fee depending on distance.
