Canadian law requires that any person shipping, handling, or transporting dangerous goods must be trained in accordance with Transport Canada’s standards by means of relevant transportation.
This TDG certification program has been developed in compliance with Transport Canada’s Transportation of Dangerous Goods Act and Regulations. The training course consists of 9 sections with . Once you pass your course, you may print your certificate of completion.
A TDG certificate is valid for three (3) years. TDG certificates are not transferable. A new certificate is required each time a worker changes employment.
Once completed, students should understand the requirements and responsibilities of persons who handle dangerous goods, offer for transport of dangerous goods, or transport dangerous goods.
Training may be paused or resumed at any time. Your permanent record of training will be maintained in your account for ease of access and record keeping purposes.
Your Employer must Sign your training card for it to be valid
This course is delievered by slide/text only. There is no auditory play back.

A student is anyone in (or returning to/starting in the fall) High School, College, University, Private Skills Training School, or who is participating in their apprenticeship for their respective trade.

Day rates are available for companies booking full classes. Additional fees such as travel costs may be on top of the training fee depending on distance.
