This Online Lockout / Tagout Course will guide you through all aspects of Locking and Tagging out machinery and energized equipment, from the basic procedures for lock and tag out, to information about worker, supervisor, and employer responsibilities.
Our comprehensive course will explain in detail what you need to know, emphasize key points and test your knowledge at the end of the course. This course is required by many industries and you should check with your employer to see whether or not you need Lockout / Tagout Training.
Proper Lockout Tagout procedures should be followed to ensure the safety of workers if you are providing maintenance on an energized machine with moving parts or a direct energy current supplied to it, if parts need to be replaced on a machine, if a machine or piece of equipment is broken or not currently working properly prior to maintenance.

This course is done entirely online and is best completed on a computer or tablet. There is no audio. This course should take you approximately 2 hours to complete.
After completion of this course, you will be issued a certificate of completion which is good for 36 months (3 years). You may still require addtional workplace specific training by your employer.
You must have unique emails for each person being registered for the course - you cannot register multiple people under the same email address
A student is anyone in (or returning to/starting in the fall) High School, College, University, Private Skills Training School, or who is participating in their apprenticeship for their respective trade.

Day rates are available for companies booking full classes. Additional fees such as travel costs may be on top of the training fee depending on distance.
